We are sorry you need us but glad you are here. This online community is for persons facing, recovering from, or living with hip arthroplasty (hip replacement or resurfacing) or coping with other hip surgery, such as periacetabular osteotomy.
We also welcome family members seeking information and support. We come here to visit, exchange information, and discuss the events in our lives. Please be mindful that surgery is a stressful event and take extra care to offer comfort, not criticism. Please handle any disagreements politely and with respect. Neither post nor respond to inflammatory remarks. Membership is a privilege, not a right.
The administrators reserve the authority to judge behavior and unsubscribe anyone who disrupts the community.
